1.  Job Opportunity: QA/QC Executive – Petroleum Jelly Department

We are currently seeking qualified and experienced candidates for the position of QA/QC Executive in our Petroleum Jelly Department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure quality control throughout the manufacturing process of Petroleum Jelly products.

  • Perform regular inspections, tests, and audits to ensure product consistency and compliance with company standards.

  • Analyze product specifications and recommend improvements or adjustments to meet required quality standards.

  • Document and report quality issues, root causes, and corrective actions.

  • Work closely with the production team to maintain smooth operational flow while ensuring high-quality output.

  • Implement quality assurance policies and procedures in line with industry standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a QA/QC role, preferably in the cosmetics or petroleum products industry.

  • Strong knowledge of quality standards, testing methods, and regulatory requirements.

  • Excellent attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Location: Dar Es Salaam / Tanga
Salary: Competitive, based on experience.


 

2.  Diploma Engineer – Electronics cum Electrical

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and proactive Diploma Engineer to join our Engineering and Maintenance department at our facility.

Key Responsibilities

1. Electrical Maintenance

  • Perform both preventive and breakdown maintenance of all production and utility equipment.

  • Troubleshoot electrical panels, including MCC panels, LT panels, and broader power distribution systems.

  • Maintain critical hardware such as motors, heaters, compressors, chillers, and utility systems.

  • Ensure the continuous and proper functioning of earthing and electrical safety systems.

2. Electronics & Automation

  • Troubleshoot PLC-controlled machines, including filling, labeling, packing, and injection/blow molding machines.

  • Monitor and diagnose faults within control logic and I/O systems.

  • Maintain and service HMI systems and machine interfaces.

  • Handle technical issues related to VFDs, temperature controllers, sensors, load cells, and servo drives.

  • Read and accurately interpret complex electrical and control circuit drawings.

3. Machine Control Systems

  • Maintain electronic control panels specifically for:

    • Injection & blow molding machines.

    • Filling and capping machines.

    • Labeling and packing machines.

  • Troubleshoot relay logic, control circuits, and PCB-related issues.

Technical Skills Required

  • PLC Expertise: Strong knowledge of Siemens, Mitsubishi, Delta, or Allen Bradley systems.

  • Motor & Drive Control: Robust understanding of VFDs, servo drives, and motor control circuits.

  • Plastic Molding Focus: Proven experience in heater and temperature control systems, specifically for plastic molding heaters.

  • Sensor & Feedback Systems: Knowledge of proximity, photoelectric, temperature, and pressure sensors; ability to monitor speed control and feedback systems.

  • Instrumentation: Ability to calibrate and test various industrial instruments and load cells.

  • Documentation: Proficiency in reading electrical schematics.

Soft Skills

  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities.

  • Flexibility to work in shifts as required by production schedules.

  • A collaborative team player with effective communication skills.
